A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management (GIDM) and and PI Industries Ltd. on 29 August, 2023, for enhancing mutual cooperation in the sector of Chemical/Industrial Disaster Risk Management (CIDRM).

Areas of Cooperation:

1. Establishment of a CIDRM Centre
2. Joint Development and Delivering of Prioritized Training Courses on CIDRM
3. Strengthen CIDRM training capacities
4. Support and Promote CIDRM Knowledge, Experience Sharing and Joint Projects
