GIDM

Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management (GIDM) and Gujarat University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to forge a long term relationship between two apex institutions of Gujarat.

Both institutions hope to help the state of Gujarat and its public to become trained in disaster prevention, mitigation and management by cooperating on all possible fronts.

The relationship between GU and GIDM shall immediately result in introduction of disaster-linked training programs in all the colleges functioning under the umbrella of Gujarat University.

This would help the state of Gujarat equip nearly 3.5 Lakh students with necessary knowledge and training to not only safeguard themselves, but also help the state in dealing with a disaster.
