LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- To orient the chemical industries about the potential risks associated with chemical hazards and the importance of hazard identification and risk assessment in industries in ensuring a safe and secure work environment in Major Accident Hazard (MAH) installations.
- To equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and concepts of risk assessment in MAH installations, including emergency response strategies in the event of accidents.
- To familiarize participants with various methods and techniques used for assessing risks associated with industrial processes and activities, including exercises for effective risk evaluation.
- To enhance participants' knowledge of Chemical/Industrial Disaster Risk Management (CIDRM) at industrial level, covering emergency management protocols and incident response procedures.
- To promote a proactive approach towards risk management and create a culture of safety in industrial environments.

TARGET PARTICIPANT:
The target participants for the training program are the MAH Factories, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and agro-chemical industries. The program is designed for safety officers, health, safety, and environment (HSE) officers, fire officers and concerned stakeholders working in these industries.
